I love to read on my front porch or listen to a thunder storm snuggled up in a blanket.
I would like to dedicate my blog to Carolyn White. Carolyn was a elderly lady who used to live next door to me. Carolyn is not with us anymore but she taught me so much. Every day Carolyn would show me a new flower in her yard. Her yard was covered with flowers and weeds. Some of the neighbors could have viewed her yard easily as unkept but Carolyn loved each flower. Carolyn would give me starts from her garden and she taught me to love flowers.
I was a very young stay at home mom with very little money so I walked around town with a red wagon and all the elderly women in town gave me starts from their garden. At the time I did not realize what it would mean to me for those flowers to come up each spring. I wouldn't be the person that I am today if it weren't for Carolyn. Gardening is so special to me and I owe that to her.
